Dear Colleagues,
The organising committee is pleased to invite you to the 18th International Symposium on Thromboembolism (IST) in London, United Kingdom from 14 - 15 October 2011. The annual IST presents clinicians with a unique opportunity to update themselves on the latest developments in thromboembolism.
As you will see from the agenda, this meeting combines an exciting blend of plenary sessions and a debate on topics of common interest, as well as ‘meet the expert’ sessions and workshops. The workshops are focused on specialities and are designed to enhance interactivity, offering the unique chance to explore varied topics ranging from thromboembolic stroke, to special populations. All sessions aim to help us improve patient care.
As in previous years, we are delighted to welcome colleagues from across the world to this important meeting, which we hope will be another excellent opportunity to participate in this valuable educational programme.
